The episode opens with Abu Al Fadl (Abbas ibn Abdul Muttalib) hiding a portion of his wealth for his wife and children, to guarantee their survival incase he dies in battle. During battle he is caught and while a prisoner he is treated mercifully, and he comes to agree that he never wanted to actually fight, and he is grateful for his nephew’s (the Prophet) compassion. He converts to Islam and dedicates his life to the message of Islam and the Prophet, and has Abu Sufyan join him, allowing for Mecca to be won over without a battle.
